How is everyone doing? I am a little burnt out with competing, and don't really have a chance, but still like that I am implimenting most of the things. I don't know if I will make it 10 more weeks! Let us know how you are doing....some of us need motivation!
Some ideas...we could randomly pick teams and you have to combine your scores - maybe that would be a motivator knowing that someone else is relying on you...we could throw in a bit of complete chance - and someone (with a witness ie mom & zenna) roll the dice for each of us and each # means something diff like 1 means you lose x amount of points, 2 means you get an extra freeby for the week, etc...we could also initiate gambling and anyone who wants to "spend" a point to hopefully get more in return by rolling the dice (or whatever we agree would be best)...we can also bring in bonus points with a max total point value - one idea amy and I talked about was to post nutritious recipes and get points for posting and trying them and then we can judge each others recipes. This has been good for me to incorporate some new habits, but I can see how it is starting to fizzle. Honestly the money has been a motivating factor but mostly I want it to be a fun, friendly competition. So if we just simply enjoy being healthier and have FUN rather than it consuming our lives and becoming more of a frustration I think we should keep going and maybe change things up. So we have done it now for five weeks. Shall we try to change things up for the next five, then change things again for the final five????
